Melanie Brooke Campbell-Durham started training in dance at the age of 4 and has been teaching dance for almost 20 years. As the owner & creator of Baby Bump Ballet™ and Babywearing Barre™, she is still very active in the dance industry as a choreographer, dance competition judge, Plexus Ambassador, wife, and mother. Melanie carries many certificates of Recognition & Achievement in Teaching Dance from many dance teacher training circuits including Dance Teacher Magazine in New York City, Broadway Dance Center in New York City, and Tremaine Dance in Las Vegas, to name a few. She carries a Bachelor in Arts degree in Dance Performance and Composition from the University of California, Riverside and will complete her perinatal fitness certification in the Spring of 2015 through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.
As a previous dance studio owner, team director, and studio owner consultant, Melanie brings much expertise to the industry. She has substituted at many studios in the area including Dance Dynamics in Rancho Santa Margarita, Tustin Dance Center in Tustin, Tracy Dee Academy of Dance in Placentia, Temecula Dance Company in Temecula/Murrieta, & JDI in Canyon Lake. As a reliable and dedicated dance instructor, Melanie is on staff as a teacher at some of the mentioned studios, as well as the on-call substitute for some as well. Every Spring she appears on judging panels dance competition & convention companies across the U.S. and Canada including Thunderstruck Dance Productions, Talent On Parade, Star Systems, Spotlight Dance Cup & Synergy Competition in Vancouver Canada.
The ballet-inspired program with a barre fitness twist was created by Melanie in 2014. Within the first 6 months Babywearing Barre™ and Baby Bump Ballet™ had received great response and is quickly spreading across the Inland Empire.
